Institute for Infants, Children & Families
This is a transdisciplinary, school-based therapeutic safety-net for young children, their parents and teachers. The fellowship is offered by the Institute for Infants, Children & Families, a postgraduate training program of the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services.
Qualifications: MSW, MS, PhD, MD or other commensurate degree including nursing, occupational/physical/language and arts therapies, early childhood and special education.

An opportunity to enhance your career and upgrade your infant/toddler-family services, these programs are designed for:
- Program directors, trainers and other senior personnel in infant, toddler-family agencies
- Experienced professionals to further specialize their clincial work with infants, toddlers and parents
The programs are offered by the Institute for Infants, Children & Families, a postgraduate training program of the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services.
In just one afternoon - evening per week, the Institute offers:
- State-of-the-art, transdisciplinary faculty/Coursework
- Observationally-based infant assessement and intervention
- Parent development, outreach, assessment and intervention
- Emphases on social-emotional and physiological-sensory developmental lines
- Infant-parent psychotherapy
- intevention with PDD-autistic spectrum children and their families
- Trauma identification and treatment
- Relationahips as a unit of study
- Leadership, consultative and program design skills
- Intensive, reflective supervision

INFANT/TODDLER CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE CREDENTIAL
Division of Continuing Education at Bank Street College
The Infant/Toddler CDA credential is designed for individuals currently working in the field of early childhood education seeking to shift their focus to infant and toddlers, or for new professionals seeking to enhance their skills and understanding of infants and toddlers.
This yearlong program combines advisement, an internship, and three training modules (seminars):
- Infant and Toddler Development
- Caring for Infants and Toddlers in Groups: Curriculum and Environment
- Infant Toddler Caregiving: Culture, Family and Professionalism
The program assists participants in completing the requirement for the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required to enroll in the program.

EARLY INTERVENTION TRAINING INSTITUTE
The Early Intervention Training Institute provides interdisciplinary training to professionals and graduate students serving young children (birth to five years) with developmental disabilities and their families. A network of over 400 participating institutions includes daycare, Head Start, and preschool programs; social service agencies; child protection and legal services organizations; hospitals and medical centers; and universities. Training activities include an annual lecture, a workshop series, and community-based workshops, presented by an interdisciplinary faculty of clinician-educators.
